Texans of all ages deserve access to affordable, quality healthcare, whether they rely on Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, or no insurance at all. Cortney has seen firsthand how gaps in care impact families, seniors, and working adults, especially in rural communities where resources are limited.
In the Texas Senate, she will work to expand Medicaid, protect and strengthen Medicare, invest in rural healthcare, and increase access to maternal care, mental health services, and preventive care so people can receive support close to home. Cortney believes healthcare should work for everyone, not just those who can afford it.
